Join us for an immersive workshop on Colour, Materials and Finishes, led by Judith van Vliet, international trend expert and founder of The Colour Authority. As part of Cosentino’s Shaping Tomorrow 2025–2026 trend report, we will explore the emerging aesthetic directions that will shape the design of the future.
As part of this experience, we will conduct a live demo of the Material Bank platform, the leading tool for international material selection. We will show you how to quickly and freely access samples from over 400 brands, how to create digital mood boards, and how to search for materials based on an image.
The workshop will be collaborative and hands-on: we will work directly with physical samples taken from the MB platform, allowing participants to experiment with textures, finishes and combinations inspired by global macro-trends.

As part of Barcelona Design Week 2025, we invite you to participate in the Life in Light round table, a unique gathering where we will explore how light, color, and materials intertwine to create transformative experiences.
The event will take place on Thursday, October 9, at 7:30 p.m. at La Culture House, a modernist space in the heart of Barcelona that will host this conversation between art, design, and innovation.
Before the round table, Judith Van Vliet (The Color Authority) will give an opening presentation in which she will share her vision on the meaning of color, upcoming trends, and how light can transform our perception of materials.
